Billy E. Grizzle

Austintown Chapel; AUSTINTOWN: Billy Edgar Grizzle, age 72 passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital Medical Center, Main Campus, Youngstown. Billy was born on March 20, 1942 in Jonesville, VA to parents Dewey S. and Ora Estelle (Yeary) Grizzle. Billy served his country proudly in the United States Army as a Military Policeman. He married Virginia Mendres on June 26, 1965 and together they spent 35 years in Red Bank, New Jersey raising their family. Billy and his family lived in Virginia also prior to moving to Austintown 2 years ago. Billy worked for Shop Rite Super Markets as a Diary Manager in New Jersey, retiring in 1998 after 35 years of service. Billy was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church in Jonesville, VA., he loved being outdoors and around all the wildlife it had to offer. He enjoyed gardening, but his favorite past time was that spent with family and his pets. Billy is survived by his wife: Virginia, sons; William Joseph Grizzle, Dryden, VA., John Kevin Grizzle, Boardman, daughter; Donna Marie Grizzle, Cornersburg, brother; Dennis (Estella) Grizzle, Jonesville, VA., sister; Janice Bales, Jonesville, VA., grandchildren; William, Zachary, Alisha, and great granddaughter; Hannah Grizzle. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother; Otis Earl, twin infants sons, and his two feline children, Molly and Mel. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
