Bonita S. Hevener

Austintown- Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel for Bonita S. Hevener, age 59 of Austintown who died Tuesday morning at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Bonita was born May 22, 1949 in Youngstown and was the daughter of the late Raymond C. and Dorothy (Poorman) Lanterman. She retired in Jan of this year from Trumbull Memorial Hospital where she had been a nurse. Bonita was a graduate of Choffin School of Nursing and attended Ohltown United Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing and cooking. Bonita is survived by her husband Richard Hevener whom she married Sept. 19, 1970, She leaves three children, Diane (Matthew) Hofus of Austintown, April (James "Mac") McComb of Columbus, Jeffrey Hevener of Austintown and two sisters Judy Mellott of Canfield and Norma Jarrett of Austintown. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 PM Thursday and from 12-1 PM Friday prior to the services. The family requests that material contributions be made to U.S.O. or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in c/o of the funeral home.
