Bonnie R. Clark

Bonnie R. (Cook) Clark, 72 of Cortland passed away at 4:20pm Wednesday February 25, 2009 at Hospice House in Poland. Bonnie is the daughter of the late William Sr. and Audine (Shaw) Cook, born in Oil City, PA on November 27, 1936. Bonnie is a high school graduate of Lakeview. She retired in 1999 from Santisi's IGA as a deli worker. Bonnie was a member of Cortland United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher and worked the food pantry with her husband. Bonnie enjoyed all types of crafts, cooking, reading and spending time with her family. She was also a Girl Scout leader. Bonnie married Harlan Clark Sr. by whom she is survived by, on April 5, 1954. Together they shared 54 years of marriage. Bonnie is also survived by her four children; Harlan (Jodi) Clark Jr. of Vienna, Debra (Tom) Hill of Warren, Colleen (Derek) Clark-Rose of Mansfield, Ohio, and James(Linda) Clark of Niles; six grandchildren; Eric, Jennifer, James, Aaron, Michael, and Ashley; five great grandchildren; Tyler, Morgan, Allison, Madison, and Kyle. She was preceded in death by a brother Bill Cook Jr. and a sister Doris Mann. Funeral Services will be held 11am on Monday March 2, 2009 at Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel in Cortland. Calling hours will be Sunday March 1, 2009 from 7-9pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Cortland. The family has asked that material contributions be made in Bonnie's memory to Hospice of the Valley, 1296 Tod Place NW, Warren, Ohio 44485.
