Calvin A. Mcmahan Jr.

Calvin A. McMahan Jr. passed away unexpectedly on April 2, 2010 due to an accident. Calvin was born July 16, 1935 in Austintown, a son of the late Calvin A. and Mary Irene (Johns) McMahan Sr. He attended Fitch High School and graduated from South Broward High School in Hollywood, FL. Calvin was a veteran of the United States Navy and throughout his career worked as a freelance artist/writer; spending most of his life doing genealogical research. He is survived by his three sisters: Carol Woodcock and Dolores Parker of Austintown and Nancy Gage of Coeur d’Alene, ID and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at Lane Funeral Home in Austintown on Friday April 16, 2010 at 2:00pm.
