Carmen P. Barba

Carmen Patrick Barba Youngstown- Private services were held for Carmen Patrick Barba, 88 who died Monday January 21, 2014 at his residence. He was born April 14, 1925 in Baiano, Italy, the son of the late Lorenzo and Mary (Naples) Barba. Carmen served in the Navy. He spent four years in the Pacific and was stationed in Guam. Upon returning to the U.S. he worked for Youngstown Sheet and Tube where he retired after 30 years in 1976 His hobbies we spending time at the race track, watching football and all other types of sports. He leaves behind his sister Anna Barba of Canfield and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother and sisters, William (surviving spouse Vivian) Nicastro, Jerry Barba, Katherine (Edward) Herubin, Josephine (Anthony) Naples, Rose (Louis) Mestichelli, Steve (surviving spouse Elsie) Barba and Antoinette (Sam) Ranno.
