Carol J. Brienik

Private services were held at the bedside of Carol J. Brienik in Hospice House when she passed away Tuesday afternoon surrounded by her family. Carol was born September 26, 1936 in Cleveland, the daughter of Joseph and Eleanor (Stalla) Novy. She was a 1954 graduate of John Adams High School in Cleveland, and was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Carol was a member of the Eastern Star, and a Volunteer for the Veterans Administration. Her hobbies included Gardening, and spending time with her husband, children and granddaughter. Carol leaves her husband Robert M. Brienik, whom she married May 26, 1962, two sons; Robert C. and his girlfriend Amy Montgomery of Austintown, and Christian D. and his wife Deborah of Austintown, one granddaughter; Brooke Elizabeth, and one sister Ruth Willard and her husband Jerry of Aiken, SC. Besides her parents, Carol is preceded in death by an infant brother; Ronald D. Novy. There were no calling hours. Arrangements were by Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
