Carol Jean Wynn of 8215 Erie Street, Masury, Ohio, died Sunday (2-19-2006) at home following an extended illness. She was 63. Mrs. Wynn was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania on April 26, 1942, a daughter of Wesley F. and Lois F. (Carver) Guthrie. She was a homemaker and she enjoyed reading, writing poetry, crocheting, and working in her flower garden. Carol loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include: 6 children, George H. Wynn, III & his wife Beatrice, Warren, OH, Lois K. McGhee & her husband Brian, Masury, OH, Harry W. Wynn, Sr. & his companion Melissa, Cleveland, OH, Nikki J. Jones, Sumter, SC, April D. Smith, Ravenna, OH, and Elena R. Quinones, Orangeville, OH; 5 sisters, Delores Sharp, Hornell, NY, Susan Merush, Hartford, OH, Iris Carver, Masury, OH, Lola Vrankovich, Howland, OH, and Leola Werner, Freeland, PA; 2 brothers, Ira Guthrie, Warren, OH, and Joseph Guthrie, Masury, OH; 30 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George H. Wynn, Jr., whom she married Dec. 5, 1960, he died June 1, 1973; great-grandson, Tony Cable; and 2 sisters, Barbara Sweeney & Shirley Nichols. Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday at Madasz Funeral Chapel, Brookfield, with Rev. Erwin Urschitz, Pastor at Orangeville United Methodist Church.
