Carol L. McCauley, 72, of Leavittsburg passed away at 4:06 PM Thursday Dec. 13, 2007 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. Carol was born Jan.25, 1935 in Mercer, PA the daughter of Kenneth Harsh and Mildred (Kiser) Harsh Pease. She graduated from Sandy Lake High School and retired from Packard Electric in 1988. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, shopping, and playing cards with her family. Carol had attended the Leavittsburg Church of God. Survivors include daughters Laurie (Paul) Meadors of Southington, Kim (Bryan) Guidry of Louisiana, Karen (Mike) Prindle of Southington, and son David (Karol) Betts of Niles. She also leaves 11 grandchildren; Heather, Heidi, Felicia, Jimmy, Brian, Sarah, Joshua, Rachael, Cameron, Nathan, Meghan, and 3 great grandchildren; Austin, Caleb, Carter. Also surviving are brothers Harold Harsh of Franklin, PA, Darrell (Mary Lou) Gantz of Howland, Kenneth Harsh of Virginia, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Donna Wright, and a brother Dennis Gantz. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday Dec.18, 2007 at Roberts-Clark Chapel where friends will be received from 6:00-8:00PM Monday. Rev. William Meadors will officiate.
