Carol O Calderone

CANFIELD-A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 1PM in the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Carol O. Calderone, 74, who passed away peacefully at 11AM Sunday, June 14, 2009 in her home. Carol was born February 20, 1935 in Ashtabula the daughter of the late Theodore and Grace (Stevens) Robison. Carol was a graduate of Mid South Memphis Bible College. Carol was previously employed in the Sales Department at Strouss’s Department Store and WREO Radio Station in Ashtabula. Mostly importantly, Carol was a homemaker and a member of Old North Church and its choir and was very involved in the children’s ministry program at the church. She enjoyed singing, playing the piano and she centered her life around being a disciple of the Lord. Carol is survived by her husband Carmen J. Calderone Sr. whom she married on July 22, 1961; a son Carmen J. Calderone Jr. of Austintown; a daughter Jennifer (Michael) Angelilli of Poland; four grandchildren Megan and Brittany Calderone, and Giavanna and Anthony Angelilli; and four great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Carol was preceded in death by a sister Joann Hanson. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 from 11AM until the hour of service in the funeral home.
