Carole Turkali

Mineral Ridge -- Carole Turkali, 77, passed away on Monday evening, July 27, 2015, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, OH. Carole was born on December 16, 1937 in London, England, the only child of Arthur and Edith. She was an office manager with her sons' heating and air business and chiropractic office. She enjoyed birdwatching, mystery novels, cookouts with her extended family and, especially, the companionship of her beloved Oliver. Carole cherished the fun, friendship, good times and caring that she shared with her "sisters" who met every Wednesday for lunch somewhere around the Valley. From the moment she returned, she and the girls began to modify and plan their next annual vacation on Kelley's Island where summer acquaintances developed into year round friendships. She will be deeply missed by her children by birth, marriage and "rescue"; who are Tanzia Turkali, Christopher and his wife Paula Turkali, Dr. Michael Turkali, and Alisa Harvey. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Milosh "Big Mike" Turkali who passed away September 13, 2010. She was grateful for the care and comfort that she received from the nurses and aids at TMH's IMC Unit and from her personal home health care team from MVI HomeCare. The family was thankful and relieved to know that she was in such good hands. According to her wishes, there will be no services.
