Carolyn Ann Mcallister

Carolyn A. McAllister, 68, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side, on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren, OH. She was born on September 24, 1947 in Warren, OH, the daughter of the late Henry and Henrietta Fury. She was a 1965 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and worked at Packard Electric for 31 years before retiring in 1998. Carolyn never met a stranger. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends regardless of the occasion. She especially enjoyed attending any events that involved her two granddaughters. Carolyn was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. She was a member and vice-president of the Youngstown-Warren Browns Backers. She also loved the Cleveland Indians, Ohio State, NASCAR, and Notre Dame Football. Carolyn was a lover of animals. She enjoyed watching and feeding the hummingbirds and squirrels; and also loved her two cats. Carolyn will be deeply missed by her daughter, Lisa McAllister of Newport, KY; her son Mark (Gretchen) McAllister of Champion, OH; and two granddaughters, Haley McAllister of Cleveland, OH and Morgan McAllister of Champion, OH. She will also be deeply missed by her family and friends. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rusty McAllister whom she shared 22 years of marriage, and a brother Larry Runyan. Friends and family may visit from 4-7:00PM on Tuesday May 17, 2016 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel, located at 180 Garfield Dr. NE Warren, OH 44483. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 7:00PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation, in Carolyn's name, to any animal charity of your choice.
