Cathy Ann Marek

Cathy Ann Comanescu Marek, 55, of Warren passed away Sunday Sept. 26, 2010 at her son's residence following a lengthy illness. She was born Oct. 5, 1954 in Warren the daughter of Andrew and Catherine (Kline) Comanescu. A lifetime area resident, she was a 1972 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. Cathy was a loving and devoted homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and most of all spending time with her family. She was of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Bree Ann Lynch, and 3 brothers -Thomas, Richard, and Robert Comanescu. Cathy is survived by her husband Andrew Marek of Warren, her son Charles Lynch and fiance Jeanne of Oberlin, OH, and 2 sisters Judith and Andrea Comanescu of Dallas, TX. Private services were conducted Thursday Sept. 30, 2010 at the Pineview Memorial Park Chapel. Pastor James Dittmar officiated. Roberts-Clark Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements. The family requests material contributions be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
