CHARLES C. BORAWSKI Charles C. Borawski of 789 Baldwin Avenue, Sharon, Pennsylvania, died at 12:15 AM Monday at home following an extended illness. He was 81. Mr. Borawski was born in Farrell, Pennsylvania on November 17, 1923, a son of Daniel and Justine (Belcik) Borawski. He was a 1941 graduate of Farrell High School and had served our country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Charles retired in 1985 from Sharon Steel as a clerk after 43 years of service. His memberships included: VFW, Farrell; Slovak Club; and the former Slovenian Working Men’s Athletic Club. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, cooking, crossword puzzles, all outside activities, and especially walking. Survivors include: 1 daughter, Justine Spak, Vienna; 2 brothers, Thomas Borawski, Sharon, and Albert Borawski, Florida; 1 Granddaughter, Rachel Spak. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Delores (Hopko) Borawski; his son, Charles A. Borawski; 4 brothers, Edward, Raymond, Chester, & Paul Borawski. Charles requested that No Funeral Services be held. However, Calling hours will be 5-8 PM Wednesday at the Madasz Funeral Chapel, Brookfield. Burial will be private. Family and friends may send condolences online to www.MadaszChapel.com. Contributions can be made the Hospice of Sharon (or) to the American Cancer Society.
