A Memorial Mass celebrating the life of Charles E. Ripley Jr. will be held at 11am Monday at Our Lady of the Lakes Parish St. Catherine's in Lake Milton. Chuck went to be with God Monday morning at the Hospice House. Chuck was born November 1, 1969, the proud son of Charles E. and Cheryl (Collins) Ripley Sr.
Chuck graduated from Jackson-Milton in 1989, where he excelled in sports, especially wrestling, football & track. He was honored to receive the prestigious "Billy Patton & Ed Milo" awards. He was employed as a foreman/roofer for Boak & Sons for many years.
Chuck was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers' fan, while his family was always split between the Steelers & Browns which made Sundays very interesting. In honor of Chuck anyone wishing to wear their Steelers or Browns jerseys' to calling hours or memorial service are welcome to. Chuck also enjoyed playing darts on Tuesday evenings.
Chuck was an avid hunter and fisherman. His family had a lot of deer roasts and fish fries compliments of Chuck.
His proudest accomplishment in life was being a father; he will be sadly missed by his children, Charles Eugene Ripley III and Gretchen Christine Ripley of Canfield. He is also survived by his mother Cheryl Ripley of Newton Falls; father Charles E. (Patti) Ripley Sr. of Berlin Center, sister Michelle Christine Ripley of Ravenna, brother Ronald Leslie (Shelia) Ripley of Lake Milton, step sister Chelsea of Berlin Center, God Father Louie (Josephine) Gababyic of Lake Milton, many aunts, uncles, cousins and many many wonderful friends.
