Memorial services will be held at 6pm Thursday at the Grace Fellowship Church in Howland for Charles H. Diana, 62, who died early Monday morning at the Hospice House in Poland. He was born June 17, 1946 in Franklin, Pa., a son of Charles A. and Constance (Johns) Diana, and he came to this area in 1970. He was a 1964 graduate of Canon McMillian High School in Canonsburg, Pa. and he achieved an Engineering Drafting Degree from Youngstown State University. He worked on the assembly line for General Motors Lordstown for 15 years before retiring, and most recently he worked as a courier for Tee’s Dental in Warren. He was a member of the Grace Fellowship Church where he was an usher and greeter. He was active in the D.A.R.E. program, and he enjoyed cooking, fishing, painting, writing, and working with computers. He is survived by two daughters; Alethea Diana and Christina Siembida both of Austintown. He also leaves a brother, Craig J. Diana of Arizona; a sister, Charlotte M. Diana, also of Arizona; and three granddaughters; Akira Back, and Raina and Narana Giles. He was preceded in death by his parents. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Grace Fellowship Church; 2150 Niles Cortland Rd., Warren, OH, 44484.
