CHARLES L. HALL, 80 AUSTINTOWN-There will be Prayers at 9:45 a.m. Monday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes-Austintown Chapel, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial Celebrated by Monsignor Peter Polando at 10:30 a.m. at St. Columba Cathedral, for Charles L. Hall, 80, who died peacefully after a brief illness, Thursday morning at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center. Charles was born February 9, 1935 in New Castle, PA, a son of John R. and Ruth E. Patton Hall. Charles was a supervisor at General Motors Lordstown Assembly Plant for 35 years, retiring in 2000. Charles was a member of St. Columba Church. He enjoyed all sports but was especially an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Pirates fan. Charles is survived by his wife of 60 years, the former Phyllis Gangliero, whom he married January 12, 1955; his sons, Charles J. Hall of Cleveland, John A. Hall of Austintown and Gary D. (Leina) Hall of Leonard, MI; his sisters, Joann Borroni of New Castle and Beverly Fisher of Bessemer, PA and his grandchildren, Jennifer Walukiewicz and John A. Hall, Jr. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Darlene Callahan and his brothers, Larry W. and John "Jackie" Hall. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
