Charles L. Weaver

Charles L. Weaver, 88 Memorial services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, 65 N. Broad Street, Canfield Chapel for Charles L. Weaver, 88 of Canfield who died Sunday afternoon at Salem Regional Hospital. Charles was born May 6, 1929 in Uniontown, Ohio a son of the late Charles M. and Catherine (Six) Weaver and came to this area in 1964. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He worked as a crane operator at Republic Steel for over 35 years, retiring in 1992. He enjoyed snowmobiling and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. His wife, the former Shirley Dronenburg whom he married June 15, 1952, died November 9, 2014. He leaves his son, Robert Weaver of N. Ridgeville and two sisters, Catherine (James) Watkins of Canfield and Betty Taylor of Akron. Besides his parents and his wife, Charles was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Holland. Friends may call on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at Lane Funeral Home.
