A memorial service celebrating the life of Charles O. Pick will be held 3 PM on Monday at Old North Church in Canfield. Charles passed away Tuesday morning, December 6, at Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 84. He was born September 22, 1932 in Rushtown, PA., the son of Charles Albert and Bertha (Forney) Pick. He was a graduate of Danville High School class of 1950. Charles was an electrician and retired from Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Prior to Trumbull Memorial he had also worked for General Motors for 15 years and Pennsylvania Power for 13 years. Charles attended Old North Church. His wife the former Lillian Brown whom he married April 12, 1952, passed away February 5, 2008. Charles leaves three sons, Brad (Nancy) Pick of Statesville, NC, Roger (Donise) Pick North Lawrence, OH, and Mark (Jasmine) Pick of Portage, MI, two daughters, Tami (Harold) Ables of Ravenna and JoAnne (Roger) Henslee of Austintown. He also leaves one brother Boyd Pick of Danville, PA and his close friend Janet Horst, as well as 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends on Monday at Old North Church prior to the services at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church in Charles' name.
