Charles S. Davis

Charles S. Davis Jr., age 57, of Brookfield, passed away peacefully at his childhood home after a lengthy and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on Friday, October 1, 2010. He was born on June 19, 1953, in Sharon, PA, a son of the late Charles Davis and Nina (Messina) Davis. Charles was a lifelong resident of Brookfield and a 1971 graduate of Brookfield High School. Known to his friends as Charlie, he enjoyed motorcycles & camping. He was a member of ABATE of Pennsylvania and was a truck driver for various trucking companies. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Alisha Lynn Davis and her fiance Christopher Dolby, his mother Nina Davis, his sister Denise Moon and husband Pete, his nephews John Bulick and wife Stephanie, Christopher Bulick and wife Heidi, his great-nephew John Tyler Bulick and great-niece Reanna Bulick all of Brookfield. Charlie was preceded in death by his father Charles S. Davis Sr. and a son Joshua Grant Davis. The family would like to extend thanks to the Hope Cancer Center of Howland, St. Joseph's Hospital of Warren, and the Hospice of the Valley for their exceptional care and kindness. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 from 6PM 8 PM and on Thursday, October 7, 2010 from 10AM-11AM at the Madasz Funeral Chapel in Brookfield. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 11AM at the funeral home followed by his "Last Ride" to the Brookfield Twp. Cemetery.
