Charles Sterling Farnham

Charles Sterling "Boots" Farnham, Sr., 77, of Leavittsburg, passed away April 4, 2013 at his home. Mr. Farnham was born February 2, 1936 in Warren, OH, son of Sterling and Genevieve (Valot) Farnham. He was 1954 graduate of Howland High School and was still active in organizing its class reunions. He retired from Copper Weld Steel after 30 years as a maintenance supervisor. He was an active member of the McKinley Masonic Lodge in Niles and the Ali Baba Groto Lodge for the past 15 years. He was a member of the HOLA KOLA Howland Hunting and Fishing Club, enjoyed motorcycles and boating on Lake Erie. Mr. Farnham is survived by his son Charles Farnham, Jr. and Nancy Carnahan of Leavittsburg; daughter Lynda Bennett and Bryan Stewart of Champion; six grandchildren and one great grandchild, and a sister, Laura Ritter of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his daughter Rae Ann Dubil, a brother Phil Farnham and his best friend Robert Raresheid. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8 PM at the Lane Family Roberts Clark Chapel 180 Garfield Dr. Warren, OH 44483, where funeral services will also be held 11 AM Tuesday. Memorials may be made in his name to the Senior Independence Hospice 6715 Tippecanoe Rd. # E201 Canfield, OH 44406.
