AUSTINTOWN-Charlotte Rae Fadeley, 74, of Notre Dame in Austintown, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 9, 2006 in her home. Charlotte was born in Warren, Ohio on September 26, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Albert and Velma (Baker) Shilling moving to Struthers as a small child and then to Austintown in 1965. Charlotte retired in 1994 from the Austintown Local School District after working for 18 years as a cook in the cafeteria. She previously worked at J.C. Penny’s and Almart. Charlotte was a member of Ohio Public School Employee’s. Charlotte married Gilbert M. Fadeley Jr. on May 6, 1951; he preceded her in death on June 12, 2001. Charlotte is survived by a son Bruce (Cynthia) Fadeley of Struthers, a daughter Darla (Tod) Shobel of Struthers; six grandchildren, and a great grandson. Besides her parents and husband, Charlotte was preceded in death by a daughter Denise Salo and a brother Bernard Shilling. Family and friends may gather on Monday, May 15, 2006 from 6 until 8 pm in the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at 1:00PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer and American Heart Associations.
