Services will be held 11 AM Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Liberty for Charlotte Rose Beeler, 75 of Niles who passed away Sunday at her home. Charlotte was born November 19, 1932 in Bolivar PA., the daughter of Vera Anaze Bobbitt. She was employed with the Youngstown Developmental Center as a Therapeutic Program Worker for 26 years. Charlotte was a member of the church, and active with their Relief Society. Her hobbies included genealogy, and she was an advocate of healthy living and an organic lifestyle long before it was popular. Most of all Charlotte enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren and helping others. Her husband Amil Beeler whom she married May 15, 1953 passed away February 13, 1988. Charlotte leaves seven children; Janice Beeler, John Beeler, Susan Turner, Linda Beeler, Lisa (Jeff) Remmick, Clinton (Krista) Beeler, and Kathryn (Jim) Fazekas, eight grandchildren; Kara, Courtney, and Jacob Turner, Caleb and Kaj Beeler, Jeffrey and Olivia Remmick, and Elizabeth Fazekas as well as one grandchild on the way. She also leaves three sisters; Alice, Nancy and Barbara, and two brothers; Bob and Jim. Besides her mother and husband, Charlotte is preceded in death by one brother, Gene and one sister, Kay. Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home Niles Chapel and again Thursday from 10 to 11 AM at the church.
