Chicki. Timko, 73 of Mineral Ridge died Wednesday, July 3rd while summering on Deer Bay Lake, Ontario, Canada at the Peterborough Regional Health Center. Chicki was born October 13, 1945 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Wick) Mountford. She graduated in 1963 from Cardinal Mooney High School and had been the office manager for Olsavsky Jaminet Architects for 30 years, retiring in 2002. She was a member of St. Mary's Church of Mineral Ridge. Chicki loved spending her summers at their home in Canada where she enjoyed fishing. She was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Indians, but most cherished by Chicki was the time she spent with her grandchildren. She leaves her husband, John Timko, whom she married June 26, 1974; two daughters, Christine (William) Holland of Mineral Ridge, Jennifer Timko of Fredricksburg, VA; one son, John Michael (Andrea) Timko of Austintown; two sisters, Mary Ann (Robert) Comstock of Boardman, Patricia (Timothy) Jenyk of Muncie, Indiana; one brother, George (Opal) Mountford of Holiday, Florida and her five grandchidren, Gregory and Emily Holland, Natalie, John Joseph and Audrey Timko. Besides her parents, Chicki was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Mountford. Friends may call Friday from 10:00 a.m. until noon at St. Mary's Church followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at noon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests material tributes take the form of contributions to the Healthwell Foundation for Pulmonary Fibrosis, 20440 Century Blvd., Suite 250, Germantown, MD 20874 or to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation for Pulmonary Fibrosis, Crile Building, 2049 E. 100th St. Cleveland, OH 44195.
