Christopher B. Cook age 63, of Brookfield, OH passed away Friday evening May 31, 2013 at St. Joseph's Health Center in Warren following a short illness. Born on February 26, 1950 in Elyria, OH Chris was the son of Charles R. and Beverly (Barnes) Cook. Mr. Cook was a graduate of Trinity High School in Washington, PA and went on to further his education at Hiram College and received his Master's degree in Hospital Administration from George Washington University. During his over thirty-two year career he served as Vice President of Lee Hospital, COO and CEO of several hospitals including Mercy Hospital, Clearfield Hospital, Kane Hospital, UPMC Horizon, and was most recently Operations Manager of Primary Health Network. He loved spending time with his son Nicholas, and was a devoted golfer and member of the Avalon Country Club as well as the Oak Tree Country Club. Chris leaves behind his son Nicholas B. Cook of Hollidaysburg, PA; his mother Beverly B. Cook of Columbia, SC; two brothers William Cook and his wife Pat of Washington, PA, and Clinton Cook of Columbia, SC. He was preceded in death by his father. Friends may gather at Ballroom B of Avalon at Buhl Park 1030 Forker Blvd. Hermitage, PA 16148 on Thursday June 6, 2013 at 4:00PM for a time of gathering and a Celebration of Chris's Life.
