Chrystal H. Carroll

Chrystal Hope Carroll, age 83, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Gillette Nursing Home in Warren. She was born on May 31, 1930 to the late, Squire and Lennie (Mosier) Kiskadden in Washington, Pennsylvania. Chrystal married her husband, Earl R. Carroll on April 10, 1946. She retired from Warren City Schools lunch program after working for over 30 years as a baker. Chrystal was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was a part of the Women's Guild and was the Sunday school treasurer. Chrystal also was a collector of all kinds of dolls. Chrystal is survived by her husband of 67 years, Earl R. Carroll; sons, Earl Carroll Jr. and Eugene Carroll; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister, Joan; brothers, Warren and Vernon; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jerome Kiskadden. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Dr., from 5:00 to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church at 11:00am, with calling hours starting an hour prior to services. Reverend Norman Schinkel will officiate the funeral services. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Burial Park.
