Claid A. Post

Canfield- Private family services will be held for Claid Post of Poland formerly of Canfield who died Friday afternoon. Mr. Post was born November 15, 1913 in Youngstown the son of Sylvan R. and Virgie Short Post and was a life long area resident. Mr. Post was owner operator of the Post Sparkle Market for many years in Canfield retiring in 1966. He was a member of the Canfield United Methodist Church, a Member of Argus Lodge F&AM, and a member of the Aut Mori Grotto. He is survived by his wife of 64 years; Marjorie A.(Jewell) Post whom he married November 2, 1940, sons; Douglas C. Post of Rochester New York, Robert J. (Sheri) Post of Lawrenceville Georgia, David A. (Susan) Post of Roswell Georgia, sisters; Marjorie Hoover and Shirley Moore both of Canfield, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Mr. Post was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
