Claire J. Miller

AUSTINTOWN- Claire J. Miller was called by the angels on Friday, April 4 2014 at the age of 94 and went home to Heaven. She was born on February, 8 1920 in Galion, OH to the late Joseph and Caroline (Azzarello) Giaimo. Claire was a member of Austintown Community Church. She also was involved with many different volunteer groups and organizations. To name a few she was a member of the Kawanis Queens, the Saxons Lady's Branch #22, and a board member for P.E.R.I., a club for public employees. Claire worked as business manager for 32 years at the T.B. Sanitarium. Left to mourn Claire's passing is her daughter, Karen (Wayne) Lynch; her son, William (DeEtta) Miller; her grandson, Matthew Lynch; her step-grandchildren, Mark (Paula) Koenig and Terri (Larry) McKinney ; her 4 step great-grandchildren Nicholas, Kathleen, Kevin (Jill), and Michael; and her sister, Lucille Creadon. Claire is preceded in death by her parents and her 5 brothers, Ben, Anthony, Joseph, Sam, and Frank; and her 3 sisters, Mary, Josephine, and Carolyn. Family will receive friends Tuesday, April 8 from 6PM-9PM at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel and on Wednesday, April 9 from 10AM-11AM at Austintown Community Church, where a service will follow at 11AM.
