Clara B Garner

Clara Bernice Garner, 87 of Howland Township, died at 5:45 a.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at her home. She was born July 13, 1925 in Windham, Ohio the daughter of the late Andrew E. and Aurie Dell Gordon. Clara was a homemaker for most of her married life. Her husband, Samuel Ray Garner Jr., whom she married July 17, 1946, preceded her in death December 9, 2002. Three sisters and two brothers also preceded in death. Clara is survived by one son, James R. Garner Sr. of Howland; two daughters, Jean L. Smith and Joan D. Roach both of Howland and two grandsons and two granddaughters. Per Clara's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will be held. Burial will be at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna. Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel handled the arrangements.
