Cleo Marie Varley, age 85 of Howland Township, died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at her home. She was born March 18, 1926 in Niles the daughter of the late Fred and Beulah Ginter Latham. She had been a lifetime Trumbull county resident. Cleo was a 1944 graduate of Howland High School. She retired from Packard Electric Corp., where she worked for over 20 years on the production line. Cleo had been a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church in Niles. She enjoyed ceramics, crafts, camping, fishing and traveling. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Her husband, William L. Varley Sr., whom she married December 3, 1949, preceded in death on September 9, 2000. A daughter, Pamela Ann Varley; two brothers, Fred and Donald Latham and two sisters, Betty Fry and Lolleta Palette have all preceded her in death. Surviving are three sons, William L. Varley Jr. of Fowler, David A. (Grayce) Varley of Safford, Ariz. and Kenneth A. Varley at home; one sister, Barbara A. Latham of Howland; one brother, William H. Latham of Ashland; 7 grandchildren, Steve Varley, Lorinda Varley, Aleesha Varley, David Varley Jr., Jason Varley, Danielle Varley and Joshua Cable; 14 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel in Warren, where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2011. Pastor Ronald Spore will officiate. Burial will be at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
