Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday at Smith Corners United Methodist Church for Clyde Cunningham of Woodhurst Dr. formerly of Kirk Rd who passed away at his residence Sunday evening. He was born July 16, 1916 in Ritchie County, W. VA a son of William E. and Blanche (Satterfield) Cunningham. He was a truck driver for Isaly Dairy Co. for 34 years retiring in 1971, a member of Smith Corners United Methodist Church, and served in the US Army in the Philippines during WWII. He is survived by his second wife Eunice (Penrod) Cunningham, whom he married October 10, 1987; four children: Richard (Judy) Cunningham of Kilgore, OH, Robert (Dolores) Cunningham of Winter Haven, FL, Gary (Jeanne) Cunningham of Diamond, OH, and Kay (James) Mills of Austintown, OH; one sister Doris M. Lytle of Fredricksburg, OH; nine grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Edna (Stanley) Cunningham, a brother Homer C. Cunningham, and a great granddaughter Samantha Carrie Hodgdon. Friends may call at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel from 2-4 and 7-9 Wednesday, and from 10-11 AM Thursday morning at the church. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Youngstown, OH 44512.
