Clyde R. Cole Jr

Funeral services will be 10:30 am Tuesday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes Austintown Chapel for Clyde R. Cole Jr. who passed away Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Clyde was born July 7, 1945 in Columbus a son of the late Claude G. and Irene G. (Miller) Cole. A veteran of the United States Navy, Clyde owned and operated D.C. Welding and previously had worked at General Motors. He was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Austintown and had studied to become an aviation pilot. Clyde will be sadly missed by his former wife Patricia Zanetti (Russ Hendrix) Cole; his three children: Christopher Cole, Shari (Frank) Costanza, and Stephanie Needham all of Austintown; former daughter in law Becky Cole and former son in law James Needham both of Austintown; brother James (Cheryl) Bursey of Michigan; two sisters: Mary Grubbs of Austintown and Claudia Bedell of Mineral Ridge; seven grandchildren: Shaun, Brandon, Ryan, Jessica, Christopher, Cheyanne, and Cody; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Clyde is preceded in death by a son Robert Sirwell; a brother Dave Cole and his in laws: Stefina and George Mraz. Friends may call from 5 pm until 8 pm Monday at the funeral home.
