Connie S. Vlajkovich

A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday at St. Michael’s Catholic Church for Connie S. Vlajkovich of Canfield who passed away on Sunday. Connie was born January 18, 1955 in Akron, Ohio the daughter of Telford and Alma (Miller) Wartko. A Registered Nurse, Connie had worked at Forum Northside Hospital and most recently at Austintown Ambulatory Care. She volunteered with her children at the St. Vincent DePaul Society and was an avid swimmer and loved to walk. A member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Connie was a devoted wife and mother whose generosity and willingness to care for others will be missed by all that knew her. Besides her parents, Connie leaves her husband Tom whom she married October 2, 1976 and two children: Andrew and Nicole. She also leaves three sisters: Becky (Ken) May of Tallmadge, Lou Anne (Craig) Welch of Hartville, and Janet Truog of Auburn, Ohio as well as three brothers: Daniel Wartko of Tallmadge, Tony (Sanny) Wartko of Hilton Head, SC, and Andrew (Debby) Wartko of Orlando, FL. Connie also leaves five nieces and four nephews. Friends and family may call from 5-8 PM on Wednesday at St. Michael’s Church in Canfield.
