Cornelia W. Kingsley

Cornelia W. Kingsley, 80 Austintown Funeral services will be 12 noon Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church for Cornelia W. Kingsley who passed away Saturday evening at Northside Medical Center. Cornelia was born May 30, 1932 in Youngstown, a son of the late Harold S. and Cornelia T. (Welling) Rickert Sr. She graduated from Austintown Fitch, class of 1950 and served as class officer. She retired from Northside Medical Center as the Administrator of the Family Practice Center, and had previously worked for Dr. W.C. Reesey. Cornelia was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church and sang in the choir and was active in the Austintown PTA serving as President. She will be sadly missed by her husband Wilfred Ernest Kingsley whom she married June 5, 1950. Four children: Victoria (Francis) Riggle of Cortland, M. Joan Kingsley of Youngstown, Thomas (Susan) Kingsley of Boardman and R. Scott Kingsley of Austintown; one sister Nettie Varner of Columbus; fourteen grandchildren: Robert Kingsley, Jennifer (Eric) Tomocik, Dr. Megan Testa (Todd) Nelson, Heather (John) Hershberger, Paul Safarek, Kathryn (Jeremy) Brown, Kristina (Brian) Devellin, Kelly Kingsley (fianc Kevin Flesher Sr.), Thomas (Jenna) Watson, Justin Real, Brooke Kingsley, Kerry Kingsley, Logan Watson, and Nicole Kingsley; seventeen great grandchildren: Tori, Georgia, Bailee, Hunter, Sadie, Alexis, Jack, Brian, Mila, Breea, Ian, Trey, Abionna, Ariya, Max, Kevin Jr., and Brooklyn. Besides her parents, Cornelia is preceded in death by two brothers: Harold S. Rickert Jr. and infant Leland Rickert; and two sisters: Ruth W. Price and Anne R. Courtney. Memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund at Zion Lutheran Church or Easter Seals in Cornelia's name. Friends may call from 5- pm until 8 pm Wednesday at Lane Family Funeral Home Austintown Chapel and from 11 am until the time of the services Thursday at church.
