Dale A Wolf

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 24th at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Anstrom Chapel, 8387 Tod Ave., Boardman for Dale A. Wolf, 63, of Salem who died Thursday afternoon at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center after a short illness. Dale was born July 17, 1952 in Salem, Ohio, a son of Martin and Julia Smith Wolf and was a lifelong area resident. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Education from Youngstown State University and had been a truck driver for over 38 years. Most recently he had been a truck driver and trainer for Cassens Transport where he was retired. Dale was a die-hard Pittsburgh Pirates fan and enjoyed high school football and especially loved spending time with his family and friends. Besides his parents of East Palestine, Dale leaves his loving wife of 40 years Sharon (Woods) Wolf , whom he married August 30, 1975. He was a devoted father to his two sons, Ryan (Diana) Wolf of North Benton, Ohio, Andrew (Aleisha) Wolf of Painesville Township, Ohio; three grandchildren, Austin and Emily Wolf and Thomas Wolf; one brother, Marty (Nancy) Wolf of East Palestine, two sisters, Debbie (Ron) Hanolt of East Palestine and Molly Kapeluck of Green, Ohio. Dale also leaves nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Dale was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martin and Anna Wolf, Louis and Esther Smith and a nephew, Ian Wolf.
