Dan R. Cvelbar of 1104 Niles-Vienna Rd., Vienna, Ohio, was pronounced dead on arrival Sunday (5-14-2006) in the Emergency Room of St. Joseph Medical Center, Warren after a sudden illness. He was 47. Mr. Cvelbar was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania on October 14, 1958, a son of Edward and Hazel (Haynie) Cvelbar. A 1976 graduate from Mathews High School, Dan became a Machinist. Throughout his career, he worked for; Fabco, and T & T Dies, both in Youngstown, and most recently, Swagelok, Solon, Ohio. Dan was a member of the Copper Penny Lodge of the F&AM #778, Vienna, and the York Rite Shrine, Youngstown. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, watching #6 Mark Martin in NASCAR racing, and he also hosted the annual pig roast on Haynie Avenue. Survivors include: wife, Shirley M. (Mae) Cvelbar, whom he married March 23, 2002; 2 step-daughters, Dana Lynn Steffy, Portsmouth, VA, & Laura Faye Steffy, Sandusky, OH; mother, Hazel Mae Cvelbar, Vienna, OH; 2 brothers, Frank Cvelbar, Sharon, PA, and Ed Cvelbar, Salem, OH; 3 nieces & I nephew, Tyler, Jessica, Julia, & Jennifer Cvelbar. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Madasz Funeral; Chapel, Brookfield, with Rev. George White, Pastor of the Christian Life Tabernacle Church, East Liverpool, OH. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 1-3 & 6-8 PM. Burial will be in Vienna Twp. Cemetery, Vienna.
