Dan Sinea, 88, formerly of 1702 Beechwood Ave. NE Warren, died at 11:30 PM Monday June 13, 2005, at Meadowbrook Manor Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. He was born April 21, 1917 in Warren the son of Dan Sinea Sr. and Ana Florea Sinea Lazar. A lifetime Trumbull county resident, he graduated from Bazetta High School and served in the US Navy for over 4 years during WW 2. He received the Pacific Theater Ribbon with 2 stars, the American Theater Ribbon, and the WW 2 Victory Medal. After the War he worked as a machinist at the Brainard Strapping Div. of Sharon Steel for 39 years retiring in 1976. He also owned and operated Atlas Mechanical in Warren for many years. His life commitment was to serve God and he was a member of the North Park Baptist Church for many years. He enjoyed visiting shut-ins and the sick and was a member of the American Baptist Men’s Association and the Warren Christian Businessmen’s Association. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Florence Yova Sinea whom he married Sept.23, 1950 and 3 children Deborah Zavodney and husband Lawrence of Cedarville, OH, Diana J. Sinea of Bay Village, OH and David J. Sinea and wife Susan of Howland Twp. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren; Sara Campbell, Kristin, Daniel, Anna, Julie, Joseph, and Jonathan Zavodney and 4 sisters Mary Dolgae of Warren, Anne Tanyas and husband William of Georgia, Helen Molnar of Warren, and Elizabeth ”Betty” Festion of Dearborn, MI. Mr. Sinea was cremated and there will be a memorial service on July 28, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the Roberts-Clark Chapel.
