Daniel Anthony Ganley, 85 Austintown - There will be a Memorial Mass 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 8th at St. Josephs Church for Daniel Anthony Ganley, 85, who passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019. Daniel was born on January 9, 1934 in Cleveland, a son of the late Benjamin C.(aka Benedict C.) and Pauline (Goldyn) Ganley. Daniel was a salesman for Western Publishing Company (publishers of childrens Golden Books) and Rand McNally for many years. He was a member of St. Josephs Church and was an avid golfer and bowler and participated in various leagues. He founded the St. Josephs Golf League with Vic Rozzi in the 1970s. Daniels interests included oriental cooking, wine and beer brewing, and mystery novels. He also created custom golf clubs. He was always ready with a joke and a smile. Daniel will be greatly missed by family and friends including his wife, the former Josephine Pasqua, whom he married on September 2, 1956; his daughter, Debra Cooper of Centre Hall, PA; two grandchildren, Tessa Cooper and Patrick Cooper; siblings Thomas (Eleanor) Ganley, and Bernadette (Roger) Lentz; several nieces and nephews and a great niece and great nephew. Besides his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his sister, Judy. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of the mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Church.
