Daniel Lee Yeager

Services celebrating the life of Daniel Lee Yeager will be held at 11am Friday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel with Rev. Russ Libb officiating. Dan was born July 23, 1939 in Berlin Center the son of John W. and Naomi Jean Hawkins Yeager he was the youngest of four children. He graduated from Western Reserve High School in 1958, attended Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church and loved to travel. Dan retired July 31, 2000 from WCI Steel of Warren as a roll grinder after 42 years of employment. He worked 26 years traffic control at the Canfield Fair grounds under the supervision of Bruce Riley and Garnet Darling (both deceased) and Goshen Township Police Aux. for 12 years. Dan leaves his wife Ruby Ann Fenton Yeager whom he married April 25, 1959 in Berlin Center. Three children; Brenda Lee (fianc David Schisler) of Delaware, Ohio, David (Michelle) Yeager of Lafayette, CA, and Anissa (Arnold) Schisler of Ostrander, Ohio. He also leaves two grandsons Nathan and Noah Yeager of Lafayette, CA. brother Carl (Ruth) of Berlin Center and sister Darthella (Donald) Sallaz of North Jackson, several nieces and nephews lifelong friends, Beatrice, Dane, Curtis (his dearest) David, Arnold and Scott of Columbus, Ohio. Dan also leaves his best friend and buddy "Jose" his little Chihuahua. Dan was an avid basketball and baseball player and loved to ride motorcycles. Dan would like to say "If I offended anyone over the years, Im very sorry "Family and friends may call from 4-7pm Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Haven Cemetery in Canfield. The Yeager family would like to invite everyone to a luncheon after the service on Friday at Mt. Moriah Church in Berlin Center and asks that memorial contributions be made to the church in Dans memory.
