Danielle N Grim

Danielle Grim, 16, of Salem passed away peacefully, at her home, July 16, 2013, after a 2 year battle with bone cancer. She was born Nov. 27, 1996 in Salem the daughter of Phillip "Dan" and Shari Grim. Prior to her illness, Danielle loved to play volleyball at Western Reserve High School and with the Mahoning Valley Thunder traveling team. She ran track, cheered and was a member of the choir at Western Reserve. She was a member of Fun Time Cloggers and previously danced with Judy Conti Dance Studio. She loved her cats, creating works of art, swimming, camping and cookouts with her family. She will always be remembered for her smile and happy personality. She will be dearly missed by her parents Phillip "Dan" and Shari, her two sisters Siara (Jason) Garland and Raquel Rushwin, her grandparents; John and Sarah Miller, Edna Grim and two nephews; Bryce and Blake Garland. Danielle was preceded in death by her grandfather Phillip "Bub" W. Grim and cousin Phillip J. Grim. Family and friends will be received from 4:00pm-8:00pm Sunday, July 21, 2013 and again Monday, July 22, 2013 from 9:00am-10:30am at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Monday, July 22, 2013 at St James Catholic Church, in North Jackson.
