Darlene P. Quinn

Darlene P. Quinn passed away at her residence Sunday morning. She was born November 27, 1944 in Youngstown a daughter of the late Patsy and Lola (Ludt) Billett. Darlene had worked for General Electric for 34 years retiring in 2004. She was an active member in the Adopt a Family Christmas Charity, and was treasurer of the Quarter Century Retirement Dinner for General Electric. Most importantly, Darlene loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandchild. She is survived by two children: James P. Quinn of Youngstown, and Christine (Michael) Connolly of Austintown; two sisters Lola Nagle of Austintown, and June Gillam of Youngstown; three grandchildren Angela Quinn, Rylie and Aidyn Connolly; one great granddaughter Alexia Quinn-Keen; and her long time companion James Napolitano. Besides her parents, a brother Patsy “Butch” Billett, and her former husband and friend James Quinn, who passed away January 31, 2005, precede Darlene in death. Friends may call from 5-8 PM Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday.
