DARLENE LIPPIATT VANJURA, 62 NEW MIDDLETOWN- There will be a Memorial Service at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lane Family Funeral Homes-Anstrom Chapel, 8387 Tod Ave. in Boardman for Darlene Lippiatt VanJura, 62, who passed away Friday January 13th after a short battle with cancer. Darlene was born October 2, 1954, a daughter of Eugene and Evelyn Diver Lippiatt. She was a 1973 graduate of Western Reserve High School. She was a member of 4H and loved reminiscing about her wonderful times with the club. She had a passion for movies and especially scary movies and enjoyed watching them with loved ones and friends. Darlene was a loving mother and grandmother whose most cherished gifts were her son and two granddaughters. She loved spending time with them and they made many memories together. Left to cherish her memory is her son Drew (Emily) VanJura of New Middletown, her two granddaughters, Hayley and Riley VanJura of New Middletown, her sister Annette James of Berlin Center, Her niece Brandy James Wolf of Berlin Center and great niece Kahlan Wolf. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Jesse James. Friends may call from 12-1 p.m. on Saturday, prior to the Service at the funeral home. The family would like to thank all of Darlene's doctors, nurses and the staff at Hospice House for their amazing care and all they did for her.
