Daryl R. Bowker, 56 of Niles, died Monday morning, April 30, 2018, at his home in Niles. He was born August 13, 1961 in Warren, the son of Robert F. Bowker of Brookfield and the late Frieda Elizabeth DeBow Bowker. He had lived in Niles most of his life. Daryl was a 1979 graduate of Howland High School. He last worked for Permco Corp. in Streetsboro, until developing leukemia. He worked as a manager at the Clark Service Station in Streetsboro for 11 years and at the UHaul Center in Streetsboro. Daryl grew up in the Niles First Presbyterian Church. He was an avid golfer and an excellent bowler, having bowled and golfed on area leagues. He loved playing guitar and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Daryl is survived by three children, Robert L. (Rachael) Bowker of Warren, Tabbatha E. Harsany of Howland and Benjamin T. H. Bowker of Niles; five grandchildren, Talan, Stephanie, Claire, Robert and Mathew; his Dad and Stepmom, Robert F. and Catherine Mary Bowker of Brookfield and one brother, Duane E. (Julie) Bowker of Atwater, OH. The memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Niles Chapel at 415 Robbins Ave., with the Rev. Judi Bender officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. on Friday prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad St., Canfield,OH 44406.
