David A. Westenfelder, 56, of Surprise, AZ formerly of Trumbull County died Monday May 24, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident while visiting Warren for his sister’s golden wedding anniversary. He was born Jan. 24, 1954 in Warren the son of the late David and Dolores (Stanberry) Westenfelder. David attended Westwood Schools in Mesa AZ and because of his outgoing personality; he always enjoyed working with people. He was an airport shuttle bus driver for many years in Seattle, WA, managed apartment complexes in Arizona, and most recently worked for a Safeway Store in Surprise, AZ. He enjoyed meeting many different people in his work and was friendly to everyone he met. David loved animals and had a particular fondness for cats. He is survived by a sister Karen (Archie) MacCrae of Phoenix, AZ, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Pamela Michleg. Two sisters, Shirley Gilmore and Wanda “Wendy” Frost perished with him in the accident. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday May 28, 2010 at Roberts-Clark Chapel where friends will be received from 6-8 Thursday. The Rev. Carl Kish will officiate. The Rev. Charles Crumbley will conduct a prayer service 8:00 PM Thursday. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
