David B. Derose

Austintown-Memorial services will be held at 11 am Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for David DeRose who died of cancer Sunday evening at his residence. David was born June 1, 1960 in Youngstown the son of Alfred and Nancy (Codner) DeRose. David was employed for many years at Easco Aluminum as a painter. More recently he was self employed as a handyman and painter. David graduated from Fitch High School in 1978. He enjoyed fishing, boxing and following the Cleveland Browns. He is survived by his mother Nancy DeRose Austintown, children; David B. DeRose Jr. of Newton Falls, Heidi Lee DeRose of Warren and his brother Alfred W. (Gina) DeRose of Mineral Ridge. He was preceded in death by his father Alfred and grandparents; Roy Codner, Wilma Koltrider, and Margaret and Alfred DeRose. Family and friends may call from 10-11am Saturday prior to services. The family requests that memorial contributions take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley.
