Memorial services will be held at a later date for David J. Romberger, 70, who died early Friday evening at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown. He was born November 14, 1938 in Higgins, Pa., a son of George F. and Sadie (Lucas) Romberger. He was currently working as a cook for Dino’s Restaurant in North Jackson. He was a member of Victory Christian Center in Coitsville. He enjoyed woodworking and he loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, the former Sandra J. Beckley, whom he married June 25, 1976. He also leaves behind two sons; Thomas (Glenda) Adams of Lordstown and Timothy (DeAnna) Adams of Niles; six grandchildren; Willy, Joey, Bethany, Damion, and Sabastian Adams; Dina Baxter; one great granddaughter, Chloe Baxter; a brother Jack (Mildred) Romberger of Allentown, Pa; and a sister-in-law, Ruth Romberger of Williamsport, Pa. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Rev. Arland Romberger. Arrangements are being handled by the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
