David L. Mills

David L. Mills of 8203 Ulp Street, Masury, Ohio, died at 6:45 AM Wednesday (1-28-2009) in U.P.M.C. Horizon Campus, Farrell, Pennsylvania, following an extended illness. He was 64. Mr. Mills was born in Grove City, Pennsylvania on June 18, 1944, a son of David C. and Mildred (Garrison) Mills. A 1962 graduate from Brookfield High School, Dave became a Millwright having worked over 40 plus years for Sharon Steel; Trinity Industries, Greenville; and American Industries, Sharon, combined. He also was the owner / operator of Mills Carpeting, Brookfield, Ohio. He was a member of the Brookfield Conservation Club; and the Polish National Alliance Bowling League. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, and taking bus trips to Atlantic City. Survivors include: his son, Jeffrey A. Mills, Masury; his daughter, Rebecca A. Mills & her fianc, Fred Roth, Masury; his granddaughter, Miranda A. Mills; his siblings, Sandra L. Mills & Richard L. Mills, both of Youngstown, Ohio; his former wife, Cookie Mills, Masury; and his former wife & also his loving caregiver, Linda Mills, Masury. He was preceded in death by his parents. In accordance with Dave's wishes, no calling hours or service will be scheduled. As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
