David Scott Oblinger

NORTH JACKSON-Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 21, 2005 with the Rev. Brad Jagger officiating in the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for David S. Oblinger of Mahoning Ave in North Jackson, who passed away suddenly Saturday morning in the emergency room of St. Elizabeth Medical Center. David was 45. David was born on June 8, 1960 in Youngstown, Ohio and was the son of Samuel Paul and Ruth Irene (Stroup) Oblinger Jr. David was a professional truck driver. David was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed collecting M&M Collectibles. David was of the protestant faith and a member of the First Federated Church of North Jackson. Besides his mother, David is survived by two brothers, Dennis R. (Lynn) Oblinger of Newton Falls; and Douglas A. (Rosemary) Oblinger of North Jackson; and two nieces Maggie and Samantha Oblinger of North Jackson. David was preceded in death by his father. Family will receive friends from 5 until 8 PM Tuesday in the funeral home. Interment will take place in North Jackson Cemetery. At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made in David’s memory to the First Federated Church of North Jackson.
