David W. Workman

Services will be 11 AM Monday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for David Wayne Workman, 50, of North Jackson who passed away Thursday evening in Hospice House after a short illness. David was born December 8, 1959, in Salem the son of Donald and Janice (Holt) Workman. He was a 1978 graduate of Berlin Center Western Reserve High School and was working as a Machine Operator with Bar Processing Corporation in Newton Falls for more than 20 years. David loved spending time and training his German Shepard, Chiefy, as well as collecting Hot Wheels and Danbury Mint die cast cars. He also enjoyed music, was a collector of guitars and was a self-taught guitar player. Besides his mother Janice Workman of Austintown, David leaves a son David Michael Workman of North Jackson, his best friend and former wife, Janet Workman of Berlin Center, a brother; Donald (Judy) Workman of North Jackson, four sisters; Charlotte (Roy) Hartman of Washingtonville, Margie (Bill) Goldner of Columbiana, Judy (Terry) Hitchcock of Rogers, and Sandra (Patrick) Costello of Petersburg. David was a beloved uncle to many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. David is preceded in death by his father. Family and friends may call from 3 to 6 PM Sunday and again Monday from 10 to 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Eckis Cemetery.
