Debra Lynn Lindenmuth

Funeral services will be held at 1pm Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel for Debra Lynn Lindenmuth, 53, who died Friday evening at her residence. She was born November 8, 1955 in Warren, a daughter of John and Eleanor (Shobel) Cheeks, and she resided in this area all of her life. She was a 1973 graduate of Mineral Ridge High School. She worked as a clerk/ transcriber for the Witten DeMatteis Law Firm in Niles, she also worked as a caterer and bartender at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station in Vienna, and she was a longtime sales associate for Dillard’s department store in the Eastwood Mall. She was very active in the Mineral Ridge Schools Boosters where she coached softball, worked concessions, and she helped to organize the Mineral Ridge “Make A Difference Day”. She was also active with the Girl Scouts serving as a past Troop Leader. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Debra was a kind and loving lady and she will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her father John Cheeks of Mineral Ridge; her grandmother Mary “Virginia” Millikin of North Jackson; her fiancée Michael Andersen, with whom she made her home; three children; Joshua B. (Jody Bakos) Lindenmuth of Girard; Tiffany N. (Deon Sheffield) Lindenmuth of Ambridge, Pa.; and Tara A. Lindenmuth of Austintown; Alisha Yanniello of Hubbard; three brothers; John B. Cheeks of Niles; Mark Cheeks of Mineral Ridge; and Eric Cheeks of Austintown; two sisters; Bridgette (John) Hall of Girard; and Katrina Armeni of Mineral Ridge; and six grandchildren; Sadie, Johnathon, Zoe, Aiden, Nathan, and Jayce. She was preceded in death by her mother Eleanor, who died April 6, 2009; and a sister Sherry Kim Cheeks. Friends may call from 5-8pm Wednesday and noon-1pm Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home in Debra’s memory.
