Delbert Suverison

Delbert Suverison, 85, passed away Tuesday morning, October 8, 2013 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren. He was born in Warren on December 24, 1927, a son of Albert Suversion and Grace (Brinker) Suverison. He was a 1946 graduate of Fowler High School. Delbert married Leona "Boots" Suverison on July 24, 1949 and they raised three daughters together. He worked at Youngstown Sheet and Tube for thirty two years before retiring in 1983. His favorite thing to do was to drive cars for Hertz, along with attending Tractor Pulls, especially the one in Bowling Green, Oh. He was an avid wood worker during his spare time. He also was a devoted family man and his greatest accomplishments were his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter Betty Jo (Ray) Smith of Warren, three grandchildren Brian Suverison, Stephanie Stevens, and Karl Stevens; and one brother Larry (Nancy) Suverison of Fowler. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife who passed away October 7, 2007; two daughters Elenor Grace Franks and Nancy Jane Stevens; and two brothers Lyle Suverison and Richard Suverison. Interment will take place at Dugan Cemetery in Fowler at a later date.
